Phillip was always the bolder one, when they were younger, able to put on a show of politeness but more than willing to start a confrontation, especially on Gustavain's behalf (though he would mostly listen if asked not to). That very well may not be the case anymore, and there's something a little unmooring about that. It's not necessarily bad, sometimes he wonders if he's settled a little too well where he is and this shifts things enough to stir him out of that without shattering everything. It certainly makes it a little easier to picture all those stories he's heard to this once familiar face.
"Luckily, I think wine is well in supply here," he says, moving to stand, "Don't you dare move." It's a bit of a tease, he doesn't actually think Gustavain will evaporate into thin air when his back is turned, but better safe than sorry.
He returns a few minutes later, setting the bottle and glasses on the table for them, considering Gustavain again as he settles back into his seat. "...Freedom is a good look on you," he says, and there's that little flirt to his voice that he's used basically since they started to be aware of other people in that way, but he's clearly not just talking about the amount of skin the other is showing. It does seem like there's something... more to him now, happier away from the restrictions of his birth.
