His initial reply earns him a cocked eyebrow, unbelieving and deeply unimpressed (a look Gustavain likely knows quite well, from times behind closed doors where elder servants could not reprimand him). The expression softens a bit at the smile, and a bit more again at the concession that comes. He pulls himself back, straightening up to his full, if not considerable, height.
"Then I hope you enjoy your tour, good ser," it's his polite voice, the one he uses when he knows other people are listening, "I think you'll find the streets of Ishgard quite interesting." And perhaps it speaks to Phillip's ability to be discreet that that's all he says now, turning and vanishing into the crowd of the market whence he came.
Later that evening, should Gustavain happen to stop by the Forgotten Knight, Phillip will be quietly tucked in a corner on the upper floor, keeping an eye out for any long dead- now living- friends. (If he does not show up, however, he will be far from free of the young man...)
