Oh like hells would he argue. Phillip isn't sure what he's feeling at the moment, but being alone and without him is really not what he wants. So he's less dragged back and more darts after him once it's clear he's free, following him into the room and making sure that damned door is locked behind them.
He doesn't hesitate, wrapping his arms around Gustavain and pressing his face into his neck, burrowing there, like it's the only place he can feel safe. He doesn't know what to say. He doesn't know what to do, other than this. It's just-- too much, all at once.
