The almost hurt noise has him voicing a reply, a low, pleased rumble that isn't quite a growl, but edges there, a little hungry, clearly liking that sound. He turns the kiss as delicate as the touch, slowly, butterfly light without actually stopping, and it's like that, careful and fine, that he finally deepens the kiss, nibbles against Thanatos's lower lip until it parts just enough to barely brush his tongue against the inside of it.
He feels perhaps a bit bad about how much he's enjoy being allowed to do this, to be so gentle without it being seen as a tease or covered over with a game. He's not used to the feeling of cheating, but he does feel like he's getting away with something here that he shouldn't, even as he's also in free-fall, unable to stop himself.
