"Gustavain. I'm Thanatos." A simple enough introduction, reminding himself of the name- though likely not enough to remember for thousands of years.
"Hmm..." Thanatos is capable of taking care of himself, and the fact that his scythe is not visible means absolutely nothing (as Gustavain should well know by now). But even though he cannot see the aether that ties Gustavain to Azem, there's that little ring of connection there all the same, and it has him curious. "If you have other duties to attend to, I wouldn't want to take your time. But I wouldn't mind the company if nothing else."
It'll make this a little more pleasant, at least, as he looks around for a sign of the missing former-Azem. "Have you seen a woman in a white robes around, by any chance? Apparently there was some trouble and they asked if I could make sure she was alright."
