That gets Opal to laugh, and the act likely makes him all the lovelier; when the stoic mask drops, there is an undeniable vibrancy to him, a quiet vivaciousness and zeal for all this new world has to offer. He does not shine in the way Gustavain does, attracting those around him with sheer brilliance, but there is still a pull there, perhaps more akin to a magnet- a gentle tug into his orbit, and once there making it undesirable to pull away.
